Hi! I'm Melanie.
I'm a Los Angeles-based art director and designer with a specialty in lettering. My focus and passions are in entertainment and pop culture, where I have been able to work on theme park signs, children's books, film titles, animated stickers, and more. Whatever the occassion, I love bringing projects to life through thoughtful design with a handmade touch.
I am currently designing for The Walt Disney Company's internal corporate creative group, working on projects large and small for D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, The Walt Disney Archives, Special Events, and more. I have also worked at Disney Yellow Shoes, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Disney Digital Network, as well as for some wonderful freelance clients including Ocean Spray and Kobe Bryant's Granity Studios.
When I'm not designing or drawing on my iPad, you might find me running by the beach, cooking and consuming Japanese food, or seeing a show.
