ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN, FIELD ART DIRECTION

During Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort, Redd Rockett's Pizza Port was taken over by green aliens, turning it into Alien Pizza Planet: "A Better Place!" For the overlay, I worked on the exterior marquee and the show elements in the interior dining area. The main dining area contains an overhead display of pizza-themed planets, aliens, and a rocket, a series of ten illustrated travel posters highlighting each planet, and a planetary guide to the “Marinara Way.”

In addition to concepting and designing all these elements, I also selected paint colors, provided art direction to other designers, paint artisans and fabricators, and gave field art direction to our vendors during installation. I also did a fair amount of show writing and naming!
